Explanation: It's my goal to put together a collection of horror films, games, comics and novels, and where feasible to bring these as content to Society-hosted Room Parties at conventions. This is just the start of the collection and it isn't much yet. Feel free to donate, but don't worry, I -will- keep growing the collection myself no matter what. Donations become the property of the Society as a whole, not me, but for now I will retain property right to what I'm putting in, and am merely loaning it for Society use at events, get-togethers, etc. I list these things as a starting point for the Society collection and because I will be the collection holder unless/until someone else takes over. If I decide to move a title officially from my own collection to a permanent property of the Society, I will note that here, too.

You're welcome to do the equivalent of loaning yourself (bring your stuff with you to events to share), in lieu of actually making an official donation to the collection, but I thought it would be nice to start this now.

This also may not currently reflect the entire collection, I just want to get this up before I forget to do it.

Edits: To the commenters: You're all right, we should include music on this list, because I'm certainly not against having other ambience music or possible karaoke brought to the room party etc. I'll throw my music in up there, and I'm going to make a section at the end for all the things other people are willing to loan if they're present. Also, at the panel this year there was a lot of discussion trying to define what really is horror and whether certain things should be included. So, I'm going to expand my own offerings out to the widest possible borders of definition, and this will mean it ends up including movies and shows that aren't even remotely meant to be scary and just have some kind of dark aesthetic. But with DVDs or game discs, it doesn't much matter given they take up very little room. I have added which system games are for to the game list. I have added stars to the J-horror and anime offerings in the DVD list.
